Guest Bloggers

Kids Sing Studio has typically used the blogosphere to post reminders, updates, videos, songs, etc. related to the daily grind at Kids Sing Studio.  In an attempt to always be innovative and use the world wide web & technology to the fullest extent, from time to time there will be guest bloggers to discuss various topics related to the worlds of voice lessons, piano lessons, music therapy, broadway, auditions, children's music, pop music and any other music related topic.  Anyone wishing to be a guest blogger should contact Lisa at Lisacasciola@me.com and present your blog topic.  All are welcome!

MEET THE GUEST BLOGGERS

Rachel Rambach grew up in Springfield, Illinois, where she participated in and studied all types of music from an early age. She completed her bachelors degree in voice performance at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, where she graduated summa cum laude. Rachel went on to earn her masters degree in music therapy from Illinois State University, again receiving top honors. Her clinical training was completed in St. Louis with Midwest Music Therapy Services. Rachel is employed full-time at the Hope Institute for Children & Families, where she designed and implemented its first-ever music therapy program. In addition to her work at Hope, she also serves on the children’s music staff at Laurel United Methodist Church. Rachel contributes her talents to Songs For Teaching and Model Me Kids, and is a member of the Illinois Federation of Music Clubs, the American Music Therapy Association, and serves as Secretary on the Executive Board of the Illinois Association for Music Therapy.  Visit Rachel's website at listenlearnmusic.com and prepare to be amazed and inspired.

Note:  Rachel was an intern with Midwest Music Therapy Services when she spent a few days a week observing with and working with Lisa Casciola, MT-BC.  Lisa and Rachel formed a friendship but it was not until Rachel returned home to Springfield and started her blog that Lisa started to learn so much from her old intern.  Over the years Lisa has enjoyed watching Rachel develop as a person, music therapist, musician, and performer.  Lisa has learned infinite skills from Rachel in the world of technology, blogging, recording, songwriting, etc.  Lisa can always ask Rachel about her latest advances in technology and Rachel always shares her tips and tricks.  Thank you Rachel for being our first Guest Blogger!
