I am proud to announce the student of the month is Grace!
Grace’s strong sense of commitment is admirable. Grace is a student who enjoys challenging herself and strives to be successful in all her endeavors. She works hard and practices often, ensuring that her voice is at its best. She is dedicated, motivated, and extremely enthusiastic about music. Her talent, along with her skill, makes her a pure joy to work with. She is always eager to learn new and challenging songs. She is able to accept constructive criticism with ease and her natural ability and stage presence shine through in each performance. She is strict in her practice schedule and records her practice for review each week. When Grace sings, she catches her audiences’ attention and makes them want to watch her perform. As you know, this is a fantastic quality in a performer and young musician. Grace just completed "Once Upon a Mattress" at Crestwood/Kirkwood Youth Theatre. She has done over 12 shows with this company. This year she had a leading role in her school musical too! Over the years Grace has been involved in many musical activities including performing at the Muny, being a member of “Muny Kids Touring Troupe," many community and high school productions such as “The Taming of the Shrew,” “Annie,” “Aladdin,” “Cinderella,” and “Grease.” She has performed in “Kirkwood Idol,” and “Junior Stars” television show contest. Grace also plays the piano and has taken dance lessons for over 5 years. She is always in high spirits and willing to try anything regardless of the challenge. Grace will head to High School next year and she will be on the dance team! I know there are great things in store for this young lady. Way to go Grace!
I am sure proud to know Grace and her family.
